About us

It all began with five lads who met at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), all sports lovers, all students trying to make ends meet. Between lectures, matches, and part-time jobs, we realised something simple but frustrating: sports gear is expensive. That’s why we turned Requipment into a Community Interest Company (CIC) — so our profits could go back into supporting local clubs, youth teams, and community projects.

Our process

At Requipment, we take pride in giving every piece of sports gear a second life, safely, carefully, and sustainably. Our refurbishment process starts when we collect used equipment from local donations, clubs, and individuals. Each item is then thoroughly inspected by our team to check its condition and potential for repair or reuse.
